Cambridge ’Our Lady of the Poor’ Fraternity Profession – Saturday 30th September 2017


Patricia Bridgeford ofs (centre in photo) a member of the Cambridge ‘Our Lady of the Poor’ Fraternity, made her profession to Peter Qualey ofs, Fraternity Minister, on Saturday 30th September. This was witnessed by Fr Patrick Lonsdale OFM during the East Anglian Regional Day of Recollection Mass held at Our Lady Immaculate & St Etheldreda Church, Newmarket.

Norwich ‘Pax et Bonum’ Fraternity Profession – Saturday 20th May 2017


Three members of the Norwich ‘Pax et Bonum’ Fraternity – Jim Powell ofs, Brigid Rawlinson ofs, and Samuel Ayalo Tassili ofs – made their professions to Rob Hardie ofs, Fraternity Minister. This was witnessed by Fr Patrick Lonsdale OFM during the East Anglian Regional Day of Recollection Mass held at St George’s Church, Norwich, on Saturday 20th May 2017 – the Memoria of St Bernardine of Siena.

Living in Faith in Daily Life: a Pantasaph Retreat led by Paula Pearce


Paula Pearce, our National Minister, led a retreat entitled “Living in Faith in Daily Life” at the Pantasaph Retreat Centre, Holywell, North Wales, from 1–3 September 2017. Thanks to Chris Whittam, of our Cambridge fraternity (East Anglian region), we have this report of the retreat.

Youth Events: Paisley and London

Please see below details of two youth events. A Paisley Diocesan youth event from the St Francis and St Clare Youth Prayer Group, that will take place this Thursday 19th October. Also, in London, a series of twelve monthly meetings exploring our Christian life in the Franciscan Spirit.
