On Saturday 21st June, Paula Pearce will be with us in Oxford for an open day of recollection at the Mornese Centre, Elmthorpe Convent, Oxford Road, Cowley OX4 2LF.
Presentations will include a summary of Paula’s article in the Franciscan Publishing, 2024 book: “Celebrating 800 Years of Franciscans in the British Isles” i.e., “A Brief History of the Secular Franciscan Order in Great Britain” also a talk about the Office of the Passion. The day will include two talks, devotions, Mass and time for prayer and reflection. We shall be joined by one of the Capuchin friars, Oxford for midday Mass.
All welcome – assembly 09:30 a.m. for refreshments, 1st talk 10:00, close approx. 4:00 p.m. Bring a packed lunch. Morning, lunchtime and afternoon refreshments will be available. Offerings gratefully received. Further information: Michael Martin 01235 526346.
