Many of you will have already have heard of the passing of Anne Simmond, wife of Michael, OFS and former London Regional Minister. She had also served in many East Anglian posts as well, and was well known and much loved throughout the OFS community.
For anyone wishing to attend, the funeral for Anne will be held at Holy Cross Roman Catholic Church, 355, Goldington Road, Bedford MK41 0DP on Tuesday 13thSeptember at 12.30pm

Dear Dianne and Angela, thank you for post about my wife’s funeral.
My greatest sadness was watching her deteriorate over the last three or four years, from a lively, happy active Franciscan to a little old lady shuffling along slowly with a walker and hardly ever complaining. She accepted her suffering in a truly Franciscan way, as instructed in article 10 of our Rule: “Let them also follow the poor and crucified-Christ, witnessing to him even in difficulties and persecutions.” [Bro.
